Learn more about Litecoin Paperwallets
A paperwallet for Litecoin and other cryptocurrency consists of 2 strings of letters. The first string called the Public Address is your address in receiving cryptocurrency. Copy your public address exactly as it is. You can also use your public address to verify the amount of coins by entering it into a Block Explorer specific for your type of coin.
The second string of letters is your Private Key. Your private key is very important and must be kept a secret. Copy or print out your Private Key and place it in a safe location. This is because your private key is used to move or transfer some or all the coins associated to your public address.
Below is an example of a Litecoin Public Address and Private Key.
Public Address: ltc1qvpdx3w6607jfyv7velc0r8jfang3muy0kclqtq
Private Key: T5dY********************************************qTiq
The Public Address and Private Key are a fixed pair. They are not interchangeable with other generated Address-Key pairs. It is recommended that you keep a printed copy of your Public Address and Private Key in a safe place and never reveal your Private Key to anyone.
